Ocala Drive-In

Business Summary

Ocala Drive In operates as an outdoor movie theater serving Ocala, Florida, offering drive-in movies seven nights a week, including holidays. The theater presents double features, with admission tied to a specific screen, and movie sound is delivered via an FM radio signal that can be received by a standard car radio or portable device. Gates are generally scheduled to open one hour before the first feature, with flexibility to open earlier on busier nights to manage traffic. Tickets are sold at the gate only, and both cash and cards are accepted at the ticket box and concession stand. Each vehicle is required to purchase a concession voucher, which functions as credit toward items on the theater's menu and supports ongoing operations. Guests may bring lawn chairs and sit outside their vehicles within their parking area, and leashed pets treated as "family members" are welcome. Movie schedules and updates are posted on the theater's website and associated social media.
